ProAm on the Tour

For 5 years now, Amaury Sport Organization has created the ProAm on the Tour. Each edition of the Tour de France includes 2 ProAm, a first at the end of the first week of the Tour, and a second in the 3rd week. ProAm Tour participants have the opportunity to ride on 2 stages of the Tour in the same conditions as the riders of the pack. The ProAm take place before the professional race.

ProAm sur le tour

The first ProAm of this Tour 2018, took place during the stage 6 between Brest to Mûr de Bretagne.  The second took place on the occasion of the last mountain stage of the Tour de France, a much more difficult route since the start was given to Sainte-Marie-de-Campan in the heart of the Pyrenees for a final in Laruns end of the 19th stage. 23 guests, including our founder Geoffroy Lequatre, former champions such as Franck Schleck, team managers such as Alexandre Vinokourov Team Astana manager, Dimension Data Team Manager, International Olympic Committee President, sponsors, and partners had the opportunity to participate in this fantastic stage in the Pyrenees, and thus live a professional cyclist experience. They had at their disposal, mechanics, provisions areas, and for the occasion the roads were closed. It was a privileged moment for the guests who lived this day in a festive atmosphere and shared convivial moments around a common passion that is cycling.
