OUR COMMITMENT: THE SUSTAINABILITY OF OUR PRODUCTS
Cycling clothing and accessories that last.
From the inception of our G4 cycling brand, we have been committed to the longevity and durability of our cycling products.
We choose the best materials, in the best factories, with professional quality experience to make durable cycling products that stand the test of time.
Geoffroy Lequatre, creator and designer of the G4 brand, but also a former professional cyclist, is constantly looking for innovations to produce even better and fairer products for our planet and its issues.
This way of being high-end has led us to a much longer life span of our products: it is for us the best way to be sustainable.
This is what we at G4 call being responsible!
How can we continue to produce cycling clothing and accessories while respecting our planet and its issues?
Our philosophy is that sustainability of our products and responsible consumption can significantly reduce our environmental impact.
Environmental responsibility is also found in our sourcing. We create in small quantities and replenish when necessary and in the quantities required.
"G4 is an elegant sustainable & performant brand" - Geoffroy Lequatre
HIGH-END CYCLING CLOTHING, YES, BUT SUSTAINABLE!
At G4 design is the core of our brand. We pay minimalist attention to every detail, every second spent on the product to achieve a high performance and stylish cycling garment.
Our philosophy is guided by our belief in being a premium brand that produces high quality but correctly. We look beyond just making technical cycling apparel, we think about the social and environmental impacts of our business.
We guarantee that every G4 cycling product is long lasting and durable.
TRACEABILITY FROM A TO Z
We choose and select our fabrics down to the last detail to ensure that they perform well, are of high quality and are durable! Extremely demanding in terms of quality, Geoffroy Lequatre goes to the Première Vision trade show in Paris every year to choose the best technical fabrics and to meet our suppliers.
We are in constant contact with our factories, our suppliers and our customers, and we listen to them in order to evolve and continue to produce the right products.
Geoffroy Lequatre is our founder and G4 designer, but above all he is a former professional cyclist who has spent many years on the bike and knows his field inside out. His expertise and experience as a former pro allows us to create the best products with efficiency and awareness.
All our products are developed and tested by Geoffroy in order to be sure of their high performance and quality and therefore to reduce unnecessary production.
100% ETHICAL ITALIAN MANUFACTURING
100% Italian manufacturing, all materials, fabrics and the entire production are made in Italy. This allows us a short and close production circuit, as we are based on the French Riviera.
This way, we avoid long transport routes and guarantee a lower carbon impact from polluting international supply chains.
We use the best factories in Italy to create our G4 cycling clothing and accessories. We limit the quantities of each of our cycling collections to avoid overproduction. We aim to produce less but better. G4 is now part of a scheme to ensure that we produce products that are truly sustainable and in line with our high-end brand image.
A METICULOUS AND THOUGHTFUL MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Our responsible process starts with the imagination and design of the products.
Special attention is paid to the use and functionality of each G4 cycling garment to ensure long-lasting performance and avoid repairs and other problems.
The manufacturing in the factories is done in a responsible way. Handcrafted without overheating, resource exploitation and waste.
A PRE-ORDER SYSTEM FOR LIMITED COLLECTIONS
In this current period where orders are high, we have imagined a pre-order system for limited collections in order to limit production quantities and their ecological impact.
With this principle of pre-ordering we produce only the number of quantities desired so that everyone has their own cycling garment without having produced too much. We want to produce only what is useful to avoid overproduction.
This is a new fashion that teaches us to consume less but rather to consume fairly and better!
