Last summer, our G4 TRAVEL project was born and allowed us to make our dream come true, to meet you and share our passion for cycling across the four corners of the planet.
These private stays dedicated to cycling will be the opportunity to live a 100% personalized cycling experience alongside professional and amateur cyclists, to go and meet the most beautiful landscapes in the world and all this with an exclusive access to the new collections of the House of G4.
Geoffroy Lequatre, our founder and ex-professional cyclist, comments on the birth of this project: “What a fantastic project! I would like to warmly thank Jérôme du Raidard because there is a real symbiosis in this association! We have the same vision of the project and we put our experience at the heart of each cycling trip we make or plan. I’m proud and happy to be able to share my passion and experience through these G4 x Le Raidard cycling trips with an efficient organization that is close to the wishes of cyclists who wish to participate in a unique trip. The DNA of our brand is sharing and passion for cycling! What a synchronicity because the G4 x Le Raidard bike trips are exactly that!”
Jérôme tells us more about this collaboration: “Le Raidard is a travel agency specializing in cycling holidays, based in Alsace. Since 2020, we have partnered with G4 for the organization of special trips. We take care of the selection of routes, places and top-of-the-range hotels, supplies, technical assistance, transfers, etc… Everything is planned for outings like the pros, with the pros. Sharing experiences, anecdotes, advice, drone videos, nothing is left out in order to offer our respective clients the most beautiful cycling experience, with a smile.”
After Gran Canaria in 2021 and the 3 Momuments last June, we have added another adventure to our G4 bike travel diary: last September we set off to ride the roads and paths of one of the most beautiful islands in the world, Corsica.
What was on the agenda? A week of cycling, fun, sharing, camaraderie and breathtaking scenery! Let’s go for the retrospective of this tailor-made trip organized by G4 Travel x Le Raidard.
Corsica: a unique route, delighted cyclists!
During one week we rode more than 600km to conquer adventures, landscapes but also the most beautiful cities of Corsica: Bastia, Marine de Meria, Saint Florent, Ile Rousse, Corte, Porte Vecchio, Pinarellu, Favonne and to finish Bonifacio. A route adapted to all levels of cycling to take maximum pleasure on the bike!
Heading to Cap Corse for a first stage offering extraordinary panoramas. To say the least, Geoffroy considered this day as “one of the most beautiful days I’ve spent on a bike“. For our ex-pro cyclist to say that, it must have been something!
Second stage: Bastia – Ile Rousse. The luggage in the van with the refreshments along the way. And to close this day, a dinner on the terrace with a view of the sea, the best!
Ready for the third stage, ” the queen Stage”, a mountain ride with 100 km and 4 cols on the menu! The pleasure of cycling with cows on the road, of crossing magnificent villages and of stopping in a hotel of a rare beauty, in the middle of the forest.
After the effort comes comfort! There’s nothing better than enjoying panoramic views throughout our cycling trip, as well as numerous services such as massages, which Yves did not fail to take advantage of!
The G4 cycling trip around Porto Vecchio is coming to an end. On the programme, we are climbing the Ospedale col, a village situated at an altitude of 900 metres. A stop for Corsican cheeses, charcuterie and sparkling Orezza, in a small place called ” the place of a nap” that’s cool!
Jérôme speaks about these moments: “Corsica, and the Corsicans especially, were very welcoming, they have a special something between sincerity, kindness, dedication and. We simply loved it.”
