The Etape du Tour Slovakia by the Tour de France
This weekend of August 20th and 21st G4 had the great pleasure to be the official jersey partner of the second edition of the Stage Slovakia, the official event of the Tour de France in Slovakia. A sporting event open to all amateurs and cycling enthusiasts who want to challenge themselves and live the adventure in the same race conditions as the official Tour de France.
More than 900 cyclists were present, men, women and children, and they all rode from the center of Bratislava to the emblematic Kamzik hill. It was an opportunity to discover unforgettable scenery through an irreplaceable experience where four race formats were offered: the Race (117km), the Ride (65km), the Family Ride (35km) or the Kids Race.
Geoffroy Lequatre, our founder and ex-professional cyclist, had the opportunity to participate in the biggest race of the Slovakia Stage. He tells us about his experience: “It was a great moment, simple and friendly, with people who are passionate about cycling! Thanks to the organizers who knew how to federate their passion to more than 900 participants for a unique sporting event. I enjoyed sharing my passion with our customers, discovering G4 and the official kit of the Slovakia Stage and of course riding on this atypical course to discover landscapes and difficulties! Well done to all”.
