Sagan, the return of the Super Hero

To confront the cobblestones, face up to the elements, outwit breaks in the peloton and be at one’s best for the Spring Classics, you must have the strength and resilience of a super hero. That’s Peter Sagan, who first imitated a comic book character (the Incredible Hulk) on his second stage victory during the 2012 Tour de France as he rode into Metz. G4 played with the comic book character notion when it designed a green T-shirt bearing the image of the rider from Slovakia. Peter the “Super Hero” of asphalt and cobbles, who is hoping to emerge triumphant on the roads of Flanders, go Sagan go! Go faster Peter in G4’s
“SuperSagan”t-shirt.

“I’m very happy that G4 has designed this t-shirt,” said Peter Sagan. “It’s a nice tribute, and I’m proud that many people around the world will wear a T-shirt bearing my image. The design is really cool, and it reminds me of one of the most beautiful moments of my career – my second Tour de France victory. It was a struggle to win, and I enjoyed the Hulk-like celebration. The green jersey is also a link to one of my most important goals, the Tour points’ jersey. It could be a good omen! It’s also very easy to see… wherever you are, you immediately stand out!”

“G4 is adding value to our team image” said Roberto Amadio, team manager of Cannondale Pro Cycling. “We really like these dedicated items. The graphics match our team’s attitude. Peter is our star, and this design expresses his strength and leadership.”

In addition to the Super Sagan T-shirt, G4 has designed one specifically for those monumental races which so inspire us called the “Classics T-shirt” as well as one for the Cannondale Pro Cycling team’s legion of fans Down Under – the “Australia T-shirt,” and there are more products already in the pipeline for the future.
