This week-end is a busy time in the G4 kitchens. G4’s very own Petra celebrates her birthday today along with Davide Formolo. Davide hails from Marano di Valpolicella in the Veneto region of Italy so we’re whipping up a traditional “Torta Con Le Mele,” light layers of sponge, crisp apples and grappa flavoured whipped cream – heavenly.
David’s made a big impression in his first year as a professional, animating races and recording some impressive results – building on those he achieved as an amateur in 2013 – such as:-
- 2nd Trofeo Melinda/ National Road Race Championships
- 2ndGP Industria & Artigianato
- 4th Overall Tour of Turkey
- 7th Overall Tour de Taiwan
- 7th Overall Tour de Suisse
We’re sure Davide will continue to progress in the coming years and we’ll be keeping a close eye on him from afar.
